The international lute player Vassilis Kostas and the acclaimed guitarist Yiotis Samaras unite their music and inspirations, creating an original dialogue of lute and guitar, through which they bridge Jazz and Greek music in a unique way.
As a basis, they use original compositions that creatively explore the two musical worlds while simultaneously presenting jazz standards through the varied musical colors of their duo. Improvisation, the emphasis on melody as well as the element of risk dominate their repertoire, which is based on recreating the compositions in real time on stage. Their collaboration is a challenge for them but also a unique experience for the listeners of this venture!
